At Home Bridal Shoot

While we were snowed in a couple of weeks ago, we took the opportunity to practice shooting with indoor window light.  Since Heather is newer to shooting than I am, I really wanted her to have the chance to practice a ‘typical’ bridal event.  We decided on Getting Ready shots, staged in a standard sized bedroom with standard window light.  I was the willing model and all we really needed to pull the shoot together was a dress (bought from Goodwill months ago for a styled shoot and never used), a veil (mine from our own wedding), some make-up and a mirror.

Just goes to show that you don’t need much to make some beautiful shots!
