Being Photographed by Cassie Rosch Photography | Goal #76 (v.2.0)

As a photographer, it can sometimes be a scary thing to be in front of the camera yourself.  In all honesty, I actually think its scarier to be shooting in front of another group of photographers.

But as a rule, I think being photographed is a good idea.

It has been about 4.5 years since our wedding, and Heather and I haven’t had any professional shots taken of us since then, so we decided that we wanted some updated shots that represent us now.  Heather has changed quite a bit in the last 4 years, cutting her hair and updating her fashion to better represent how she chooses to express her gender, and we now live in a place that we absolutely love to call home.

We asked our good friend Cassie from Cassie Rosch Photography to take our shots, so a couple of days before Heather’s 29th birthday we headed up to Fort Collins.

The results are phenomenal, and I may be a bit biased, but Heather looks pretty hot :)

We enjoyed the experience so much, that we’d like to make it at least a bi-annual tradition to get photos taken of us/ our family.  It is definitely important to turn the tables, be vulnerable, and feel like clients for a couple of hours.

I hope you love them as much as we do!
