The Best Colorado Queer Wedding Vendors and Events

I am proud to be part of the queer wedding network here in Colorado and I believe that every couple deserves to be seen and celebrated on their wedding day.

Not only do I value serving the LGBTQ+ community in my own photography business, but I’ve got my hands in a few other events and businesses in the queer wedding space.

I also think it’s important to highlight some of the other amazing queer owned wedding vendors in Colorado, so this post is going to be a catch all of amazing resources for the queers getting married in Colorado!

In Person Event – The Queer AF Engagement Party

Welcome to the Queer AF Engagement Party, a two day celebration of wedding love and queerness!

Three years ago we dreamed up a wedding event that would take the traditional wedding showcase and flip it on it’s head. While most wedding showcase feature aisle after aisle of wedding vendors that fit a very heteronormative mold, the Queer AF Engagement Party is an energetic and fun party where Queer is embraced and celebrated in every way.

The showcase boasts over 80% queer wedding vendors, drag queen MC’s, live music performances, and tons of awesome giveaways. We also contribute a portion of our ticket sales to a local non-profit working to better the lives of LGBTQ+ Coloradans.

This year we’re turning our one day showcase into a two day event (both days included in the ticket price). Day one will be the true party vibe, with a fashion show, drag performances, tattoos, tarot card readers, and yummy food and drinks. Day two will be the more typical wedding showcase highlighting our queer vendors and giving you an opportunity to talk to folks you might want to hire for your wedding!

Online Directory – LGBTQ I Do

In addition to an in person event, there is also a wonderful online directory of LGBTQ+ affirming wedding vendors, specific to Colorado. Though there are a couple national directories also (like Equally Wed or Dancing with Her), LGBTQ I Do highlights vendors in Colorado, in order to better serve the local community.

Within the directory, you’ll find incredible vendors in categories like wedding planners, florists, and photographers. Each vendor is vetted before acceptance, to make sure they are visible in their support of the LGBTQ+ community. You’ll also find businesses identified by “Queer Owned” or “LGBTQ+ Staff” in order to help you quickly navigate to vendors you might be most interested in. Within each category, you’ll be able to read up on a vendor, see their work, see how they answer some fun, more personal questions, and reach out to them directly to see if they’re available for your wedding.

Queer Owned Wedding Vendors

You’ll find wonderful queer owned and allied vendors in the LGBTQ I Do directly above, but I also wanted to call out some of my favorite Queer Owned wedding vendors. It’s not an exhaustive list by any means, but the folks below are businesses I have loved working with and ones you might enjoy as well.
