Cherry Blossom Engagement | Lauren and Ersan

Cherry Blossoms have a special place in Lauren and Ersan’s story.

When Ersan proposed, he wrote Lauren a poem that talked of cherry trees and bluebirds. So the iconic tress and birds because a central part of their wedding planning. When we first talked of their engagement session, we decided that we wanted to do our best to align it with the cherry blossom bloom in City Park. We took a gander on the date and actually hit the nail on the head this year.

When we arrived at City Park together, the blossoms were in full bloom and all over the park. That gave us tons of room to explore we milked the day and the light for all it was worth. And we got both white and pink blossoms to work with!

Most of all, I loved spending an afternoon with these two wonderful people, who found each other at a phase of life when they were both ready to move forward to the next chapter. I love the compassion, care, and authenticity they bring to the life that they’re building together, and it was evident in all of their interactions together.
