Chihully Art Installation in Denver
When my parents last visited in September, we made it a point to check out the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens. My parents had first heard of Chihuly on their recent trip to Alaska and were super excited to see what the Denver exhibit had to offer.
Heather and I visit the gardens on a regular basis and have kept up our membership even though I no longer work there. There is just something so peaceful about the gardens and there is always something beautiful (and often changing) to see.
We almost always take visitors there and once we have kids we know we’ll love taking them to the Children’s Garden.
On this particular visit, I took my camera along and focused on the up close intricacies of Chihuly’s work. I particularly love how many of the curls and coils throughout the garden give the illusion of serpents dancing. There is a amazing sense of life and movement in his work.
We loved the Chihuly exhibit! You photographed it beautifully!
Thank you Julie! Its one of the coolest exhibits I’ve seen!
