A Classic Outdoor Wedding in Allenspark, CO

Wild Basin Lodge was one of the first venues that I photographed at in Colorado so I was so pleased to head back to this gorgeous property to 2nd shoot for Kristina of Decorous Photography. Just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park in Allenspark, Wild Basin Lodge has it all–a field, a creek, aspen trees, and little nooks everywhere to explore for portraits. Lindsey and Shaun’s Wild Basin Lodge Wedding was a joy-filled day with tons of excitement and laughter and the prettiest blush color palette.

I hung out with Shaun and his groomsmen while they got ready (see their awesome bow ties!) and the happiness and excitement was so apparent. I just love Shaun’s smile when he opened the gift that Lindsey had prepared. And Lindsey’s smile was just as big when she opened Shaun’s letter.

After the sweetest first look and beautiful bridal party portraits it was time for a sunny, field-side ceremony. The evening finished with romantic sunset portraits and heartfelt toasts from the bridal party.
