Denver Museum of Nature and Science Wedding | Jessica and Mike
Jessica and Mike have been together just over 3 years (3 years, 3 months, and 9 days on their wedding day to be exact), and couldn’t wait for their wedding day to get here.
There is a natural ease between the two of them and one of the things that I admire most about their relationship is their obvious partnership. Prior to wedding day they bought a house together and settled into their new norm, excited for each little (and big!) project that came their way. They successfully renovated their basement AND planned a wedding, which is no small feat.
When they told me that they had chosen to have a Denver Museum of Nature and Science Wedding, I jumped for joy. I spent hours wandering the diorama halls looking for the perfect backdrops and envisioned the above Mastodon photo for months.
Finally their wedding day arrived, perhaps a bit rainier than expected, but absolutely perfect in so many ways.
Congratulations Jessica and Mike–I’m so happy for you two and can’t wait to see photos from your Hawai’i honeymoon!
Jessica wore an antique gold pin from her grandma on her bouquet.Nicole Toledo (make-up) and Hayley Styles (hair) executed Jessica’s peachy wedding look to perfection.Jessica’s veil featured lace from her mother’s wedding dress, hand-sewn by the family before the wedding day.City Park was the perfect backdrop for their first look. And we managed to sneak in a few portraits before an afternoon shower shepherded us back up towards the museum.MJM Designs made the stunning pink and coral bouquets, which complemented the mismatched blush pink bridesmaids dresses. One of my favorite images of the day, I have to give a shoutout to Heather for this amazing shot. After the ceremony, we frolicked with a moose in the diorama halls at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science before heading outside for a group photo of the bridal party.
Even though a storm was blowing in, Jessica and Mike hosted cocktail hour on the 4th floor sky terrace with incredible views of City Park and downtown Denver. After dinner we snuck outside for some epic sunset portraits.
The toasts had everyone laughing from start to finish and then it was time to hit the dance floor.
Congratulations again!
