Downtown Frisco Winter Engagement | Lizzy and Josh

Lizzy and Josh are getting married in San Diego this October, but because they call Colorado home, they wanted to showcase our beautiful state in their engagement photos.

We met on a Sunday afternoon to travel up to Frisco together and spent a lovely couple of hours getting to know each other on the drive.  Lizzy and Josh are inquisitive and caring and their personalities fit together beautifully.

We started our day in downtown Frisco, a super cute, un-pretentious mountain town.  We wandered the streets, chasing epically beautiful filtered light and made sure we took an ice cream break.  I know it might seem weird to be eating ice cream during an outdoor winter session, but I believe that there is never a bad time to enjoy ice cream.  Thankfully Lizzy and Josh agreed!

As the sun fell behind the mountains in town we treked out to a snowy field just outside of the Frisco Adventure Park for some dramatic colorful portraits.  Lizzy’s emerald green dress was the perfect pop of color against the white snow and set the stage for a romantic sunset.

We ended our day walking on Lake Dillon (seriously, who doesn’t feel like a superhero walking on a lake??) and capturing a gorgeous mountain sunset.

After our session we grabbed a delicious burger at Moosejaw, chatted about the wedding, and did our best to warm our chilly hands and feet.

All in all, I could not have asked for better company to spend a day in the mountains with.  Love to you!
