Elegant and Multi-cultural Downtown Denver Wedding | Maysun and Nathaniel

After a whirlwind few months that featured four (!) wedding celebrations and an engagement session, Maysun and Nathaniel finished off their wedding tour with a beautiful spring blanc Denver wedding.

I was so excited to meet up with Maysun and Nathaniel at the gorgeous new hotel in the RiNo District, The Ramble Hotel.  Maysun’s family had been hugely present at their intimate Nikah and their overseas wedding in Malaysia, but the Denver wedding brought all of Nathaniel’s extended family together.

The energy of cousins and siblings together while Nathaniel was getting ready was immensely fun and the perfect way to start a beautiful March wedding day. Meanwhile, across the hotel, Maysun was hanging out with her family, and was beautifully relaxed and calm.

Before we knew it, Maysun and Nathaniel were meeting in front of the Ramble Hotel for their first look. The expressions between them when they first glimpsed each other was oh so sweet.  And the portraits we captured in the RiNo district after were the perfect balance of whimsical and classic.

An hour or so later, the two were reading their personalized vows in front of their family and friends.  My favorite part of their ceremony was the rose water blessing.  Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins were invited up to sprinkle rose water over the couple’s hand’s. The joy in those moments was so beautiful to watch!

Because Maysun and Nathaniel had chosen to do a first look, they got to spend a full hour at their cocktail party.  The cocktail party took place in the industrial barn in the blanc Denver courtyard.  The Brindle + Oak planning team did a phenomenal job coordinating the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception and the entire evening had an air of relaxed fun.

After an amazing dinner (seriously one of the best I’ve eaten recently) from Footers Catering, Nathaniel opened up the dance floor and everyone jumped in.

My 2nd favorite part of the night was the bubble exit, which was actually more of a bubble celebration.  While Maysun and Nathaniel danced to a full song, their guests surrounded them in a circle and showered them with bubbles.  Just wait until you see it!

Maysun and Nathaniel, it has been my honor to be your photographer over the last year. Your blanc Denver wedding was so fun and wonderful. I can’t wait to see where life takes you together. You are clearly the perfect match.
