Elegant Ranch Wedding | Sarah and Dominic
Sarah and Dominic have known each other for seven years and while the act of falling in love was more of a gradual process than a specific moment, it didn’t take long for the two of them to know they wanted to spend their lives together. Separated by long distance for part of their relationship, the two now happily call Colorado home.
Their wedding took place at the beautiful Deer Creek Valley Ranch in Bailey, and in typical Colorado early summer fashion, the day went from a scorching sunny day to a rainy evening in the course of about an hour.
Nevertheless, Sarah and Dominic took the weather in stride, pulled out umbrellas when needed, and chose to dance the night away under a roof instead of under the stars.
Sarah and Dominic, it was a pleasure to work with you over the past year–I hope you had a fabulous time on your honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!
Sarah and her girls got ready in the Man Cave at Deer Creek Valley Ranch. The fabulous Nicole Ramirez of Pretty Bride Shop was on hand for make-up and Sarah’s friend Jacob did her hair into a stunning classic undo.
The loft space at Deer Creek Valley Ranch is such a stunning space and I was super stoked when Sarah agreed to get dressed up there. You seriously couldn’t beat the window light streaming in and her dress by the Wedding Seamstress was beyond perfection. This space helped me create my favorite bridal portrait ever.
After the girls vacated the Man Cave, the men moved in to put the finishing touches on their looks.
We ventured outside for some group bridal party portraits. I LOVED the bridesmaid dresses that Sarah chose. The varying styles allowed each girl to wear something that truly represented them and made them feel comfortable. Bella Calla made the gorgeous bouquet and I couldn’t stand how cute the ring bearers were!
Guests and bridal party then jumped into horse drawn carriage to take them down the road to the ceremony site, taking place at a gazebo by the lake. Good Ol’ Fashioned Party paid attention to every little detail to make sure the ceremony space was perfect.
Finally, it was time for the long walk down the aisle.
The ceremony was sweet and funny and Sarah and Dominic didn’t let go of each other’s hand the entire time.
After the ceremony we hustled to beat the rain and squeezed in some amazing couple’s photos. The property at Deer Creek Valley Ranch is so peaceful.
Just as the rain started, we retreated into the reception space at the barn. Good Ol’ Fashioned Party was on hand to facilitate the decor and worked extra hard to make last minute changes to the evening itinerary. In the end, the rain didn’t matter. The toasts were heartfelt, there was so much love in the air, and Sarah and Dominic glowed as a newly married couple. Love is all that mattered.

I really love the emotion you’ve captured here, and in such a soft and beautiful way. Nice job!! :)
wow. I love so much of what I’m seeing here from their style, the dress, the film images, the bouquet. My favorite is the B&W image of them holding hands with the rosary around her wrist. A seriously beautiful set of images here.
