Fossil Creek State Park Wedding | Alex and Taru

Alex and Taru met online while they were attending the same college in Fort Collins. After bailing on their first in person date, the two made eye contact across the dining hall (where Alex spotted a tall, intriguing blonde), and they decided to give their first date another chance.

They spent hours talking on that date, going deep into the origins of the universe and how everything is made of stardust. After such a magical first date they coined their nicknames “stardust” and “magic” and they haven’t looked back since.

The pandemic made them rework their wedding plans, but they finally executed their dream wedding day at a park in Fort Collins. Surrounded by their closest friends they said “I Do” under the pavilion by the water.

Their Stardust and Magic theme was present throughout the wedding day, from the matching bow ties they wore in their second outfit, to their ring box and favors, to the amazing looking galaxy cake (that they made themselves!!!).

Taru and Alex’s queer wedding was 100% them, and that’s the absolute best kind of wedding day.

Amazing photos by associate Candice.
