Garden of the Gods Engagement | Hollis and Ryan

Hollis and Ryan met in an airport.  Yes, an airport.  It seems crazy that airports could initiate something as great as a lasting relationship, what with everyone hustling to their gates, trying not to forget their shoes in the security line, or taking a quick cat nap between connections.  But it is possible.

Hollis hails from Utah but before she met Ryan, was living in Nashville pursuing her music career.  Turns out that an amazing relationship can completely change your life plans and the two now call Colorado home.

When we met for drinks in Denver, the two had a lot of ideas for what they wanted to do for their engagement shoot.  They wanted something that combined Hollis’ love for grass and open space with Ryan’s love of Colorado.  In the end they decided that sunrise for a Garden of the Gods engagement was the way to go.

We met at an overlook about 15 minutes before the sun came above the horizon and stuck around until the early morning rays had illuminated the entire landscape of Garden of the Gods peaks.  Then we headed into the park to wander the trails and chase the pretty light.

Hollis and Ryan are planning their wedding at Crooked Willow Farms next August and I bet its going to be spectacular.

Congratulations!
