Goal #32 – WPPI 2014 {Part 1}

Since getting back from WPPI last Thursday I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how I wanted to approach blogging about the experience.

There was so much to take in: from the expo to the classes to the late night conversations with my roommates about anything and everything.  I came home with pages of notes and my brain going a million miles a minute trying to figure out the best way to make sense of all the information I had gathered and how to make the subsequent changes to our business that I think should happen this year.

For me, the platform classes I attended were (for the most part) exceptional.  I was very careful in how I picked out my classes, choosing speakers whose work I knew and liked, but also whose class description really meshed with our business philosophy.  I chose to listen to people who approached business and client interactions with the same mindset and heart that we do, and I looked to gain perspective and insight on how to technically and emotionally foster client relationships  and translate ourselves into our work in order to create something beautiful.

So, I’ve decided to approach this series of posts by focusing on the main takeaways–the quotables–that really caught my attention in each class and why I think each presenter resonated with me so much.  At the end of the series, I’ll blog about the expo experience and the Desert Shootout I attended mid-week.

Sound like a lot?  Well, I figured it would be better to break it up than to write a novel in one post!

So check back often!
