Georgetown Mountain Pass Engagement | Meixuan and Jerod

Mei and Jerod’s engagement shoot marked the 2nd time this season that I got to travel into the mountains above Georgetown for a Guanella Pass Engagement.  Both sessions rocked and I love how the different seasons were reflected in each session.  One clearly read ‘summer’ and the other, just 3 weeks later, clearly read ‘fall’.

Mei and Jerod met online and weren’t sure what to expect going into their first meeting.  But after a two hour date at Snooze spent talking and connecting, they extended it to a walk in a local park, just so they didn’t have to say goodbye to each other yet.

The rest, as they say, is history.

We started our session in Downtown Denver, around Union Station.  The staff at Snooze were awesome and let us borrow their patio for a few photos before we headed over to the Millennium Bridge to take advantage of the cool architecture.  Even though the first day of fall was just two days away, the day in Denver was HOT and we were excited to head up into the mountains to finish the session in cooler temperatures.

We stopped off in Georgetown to regroup, then drove all the way up Guanella Pass, stopping at various lookouts to take in the changing Aspen landscape, and ending just as the sun disappeared over the mountains at the summit.  Even without the direct sunlight, we had plenty of time to play in the hills and take in the awesome landscape.

I absolutely loved that Mei and Jerod were silly with each other throughout the session and clearly very in love.  They made my job easy!
