Golden Gate Canyon State Park Engagement

Nadia and Michael are two of the sweetest people I know and one of the best parts about them as a couple is that they make each other laugh easily.

The two met in grad school and quickly hit it off and it wasn’t long before they knew that “forever” was in the cards for them. They got engaged just before New Year’s and are planning a June wedding for next summer.

For their engagement session we chose a warm day in April and explored Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The park holds significance to them as it’s where Michael first asked Nadia to be his girlfriend. We started the shoot scaling the side of the hill to get to the exact rock where that pivotal moment happened. Then we explored in the trees, chasing sunshine.

We stopped at a couple of other locations as we made our way to the lookout at the summit of the park, where we took in the sunset together from the deck.

All in all, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon and I’m so excited to the future of these two!
