Golden Gate Canyon Wedding | Eric and Matt
Eric and Matt’s Golden Gate Canyon wedding was held at Panorama Point in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It was the picture of a true pandemic wedding. Reduced guest count, masks, and a fully live stream of their wedding over zoom. But while the day might have looked different than they had originally planned, it was no less special.
Eric and Matt started dating in the Fall of 2017 and chose to get married in Golden Gate Canyon State Park as it was the site of their third date. It was also the first time Eric met Matt’s dog, Charlie, who is a key feature in their lives. They loved the fall colors of yellow aspens, and chose navy and gold as their wedding inspiration colors.
The two of them found ways to incorporate the most important people in their life into their ceremony. Their good friend was their officiant. And many family and friends were invited to give a speech or blessing over zoom during their ceremony. They even had a live music performance over zoom. I also loved that they capped off their ceremony with personalized vows and a whisky tasting ceremony.
Honestly, their day couldn’t have been executed better, and I’m so happy to see these two tie the knot in a truly special and meaningful way.
After their ceremony, they invited their guests for a rooftop reception highlighting their favorite foods.
Congratulations Eric and Matt!
