Joshua Tree National Park Boudoir Photography | Liz

Joshua Tree National Park Boudoir photoAs our final photographic project, before we jumped in the cars and headed to the airport and home from Heck Yeah Photo Camp, we did a little Joshua Tree National Park Boudoir.   Our roommate Liz jumped at the chance to model for us, as she’s an established boudoir photographer in her home market in Wyoming.  I jumped at the chance to take boudoir photos in the desert, an opportunity I would rarely have had as I don’t photograph boudoir.

However, if every person could be as amazing as Liz at posing, and if every boudoir shoot could take place in the middle of the California desert, I might decide to give it a go.

Candice once again came through with the styling as she had brought a full length lace gown.  We had actually been looking for a liner so we could use it as a bridal dress for Ashley’s bridals, but when that didn’t pan out, our next thought was that it would be a phenomenal dress for boudoir.

I’m so happy to have had the chance to photograph this shoot.  Liz you were amazing, Candice the dress was perfect, and Joshua Tree you rocked my world.

This is the very first pose that Liz directed herself into.  From that moment on we were inspired.lace dress boudoir photoboudoir in the desert photoThe editorial feel of this along with the desert light–so so in love.
