Lost Gulch Overlook Boulder Engagement | Liz and Kristal
Liz and Kristal have been together for about 2 years, though they spent about a year doing long distance between Colorado and California. Like many relationships, the distance taught them a lot about who they were: together and apart. So when Liz moved back to Colorado last June, they knew they wanted to be in it for the long haul.
The two got engaged last September, and knew they didn’t want to wait too long to commit their lives together, so they started planning an early-July Colorado wedding.
Just before Memorial Day we met up for their Lost Gulch Overlook Boulder engagement session. We started the day at a pull off on Flagstaff Mountain and took some time to wander in the trees, chasing sunlight and being goofy together. I just love the easy, natural chemistry that Liz and Kristal share and it’s so apparent in their photos!
As sunset approached, we ventured over to the rocks at Lost Gulch and managed to brave the wind for about 20 minutes. The views at Lost Gulch are some of the best and most accessible in Boulder, but, boy, the wind is something else!
Liz and Kristal will be saying “I do” at a private house in Winter Park in just under a month and I’m thrilled to be heading up to celebrate with them!
Until then, check out some of my favorites from their Lost Gulch Overlook Boulder Engagement session!
