Lyons Wedding Venues: The Complete Guide
A guide to Lyons, Colorado Wedding Venues and why you might fall in love with this beautiful mountain town.
When I first started exploring mountain towns after my move from Virginia, Lyons was one of the first towns we visited. Lyons is located an easy drive from both Longmont and Boulder, and is also not far from Denver. If you’re looking for an easily accessible location for your wedding that still makes you feel like you’re in the mountains, the Lyons wedding venues are definitely worth a look.
Because the town is tucked in the mountain canyon between Longmont and Estes Park, the number of venues is small. But they’re absolutely worth checking out!
Here’s a rundown of Lyons Colroado wedding venues and a little bit of information about each. Know of one that I didn’t mention? Let me know and I’ll add it to the list!
I also love that 100% of these venues are family run and they take weddings and client experience seriously!
Lyons Farmette
If you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue that feels fresh, intimate, and laid back, then definitely schedule a time to visit the Lyons Farmette. Here you’ll be able to dine outdoors under the market lights, while your guests have the chance to mingle with resident alpacas and chickens. Plus, in house flowers from the Farmette flower gardens are an added bonus!
Lyons River Bend
Just a quick drive past the Lyons Farmette, this sister property features high rock canyons along a peaceful and beautiful flowing river. River Bend can accommodate a slightly larger guest count than the Farmette, but boasts the same intimate and cozy charm. Highlights include a glamping tent, several ceremony site options and a firepit.
Planet Bluegrass
Planet Bluegrass boasts 20 acres of space and features river access, high red rock canyon walls and numerous groves of trees. There is plenty of space to create a laid back, outdoor-focused wedding. (image courtesy of Planet Bluegrass).
YaYa Farm and Orchard
YaYa Farm and Orchard is technically in Longmont, but it’s location along highway 66 is just outside of Lyons and another beautiful outdoor option to consider in the area. The ceremony site takes place next to the apple orchards and you can plan your reception in the orchards or the nearby barn.
Lyonscrest Manor
This 50 acre private property boasts spectacular views of Hall Ranch open space for the ceremony, indoor and outdoor areas for the cocktail hour and reception, and a family-run approach to business.
Stone Mountain Lodge
If you’re looking for a laid back, blank canvas of a space, with beautiful natural surroundings, Stone Mountain Lodge might be the place for you. The ceremony space and nearby garden pavilion feel peaceful and relaxed. And the on-site tent gives you an option for a covered reception area.
