Mayflower Gulch Winter Elopement | Elizabeth and Connor

What started as a “crush” with no expectations more than to be friends, eventually led Elizabeth and Connor to commit to each other in the mountains of Colorado.

Coming in from out of state with their immediate families, Elizabeth and Connor rented a gorgeous airbnb where they could gather, celebrate, and relax together. Their motto for the weekend was “going to the mountains to get married” and that was just what they did.

We started the day with a gorgeously decorated ceremony in front of the floor to ceiling windows in the house. They shared personal vows with each other, exchanged rings, were blessed by every family member, and tearfully listened to readings from each of their moms. With a kiss and a cheer they were declared married!

After a quick toast, we donned our hiking boots and made the trek to Mayflower Gulch to chase the sunlight.

We could not have asked for a more perfect bluebird sky winter day, and despite the cold temps, we had so much fun in the snow together!

Post hike Elizabeth were headed back for a chef’s dinner and a hot tub dip with their families, which is the perfect way to end a wedding day in the mountains!
