While we were in Missouri photographing Rebecca and Zach’s wedding, we scheduled some time for some Ozarks Couple’s Photos with Rachel (our classmate from R-MWC and Rebecca’s sister) and her husband Justin.
Based on our flight schedules we didn’t have our usual preferred sunset time, so we decided to meet for a sunrise shoot instead. It was our first experience shooting people at sunrise (I did a session in the Denver Botanic Gardens last summer) and it was so amazing! Instead of fighting darkness like what happens at sunset, we got to utilize the awesome golden pre-dawn light, then keep shooting as the sun rose and started filtering through trees. Pure awesomeness.
And although it was quite chilly, Rachel and Justin totally embraced the experience. Besides, who doesn’t like to spend an hour kissing their spouse first thing in the morning?
After the shoot we caught up over coffee before we headed for the airport. Its always nice to see what’s up in other R-MWC alumni lives and this morning was no exception.
Rachel and Justin, it was so nice to see you! Enjoy your photos!
