Relaxed Colorado Mountain Wedding

When I met Allison and Tony at a coffee shop in Golden to talk about their relaxed Colorado mountain wedding at Snow Mountain Ranch, they made it clear right from the start that the most important thing about their day was spending quality time with family and friends. Though they currently live in Tennessee, they knew that a weekend getaway in the mountains of Colorado would be the perfect way to celebrate together.

Though we did get about 15 minutes of rain (thankfully right after the ceremony), the rest of the day was clear and calm and led to an amazing, purple sunset.

I loved the fall colors that Allison chose for her bridesmaids dresses and her flowers and I absolutely love that they DIY’d their table decorations. They even road tripped it to Colorado from Tennessee with their decorations in tow a couple months before the wedding. The family that helped with set up searched the Snow Mountain Ranch property for additional wood scraps and moss to add the perfect finishing touches to their displays.

My favorite part of the night was seeing Allison dance with her dad while Tony danced with his sister.
