Sapphire Point Overlook Proposal | Lorena and Farah

Colorado spring has a mind of it’s own.  One day it’s 80 degrees and gorgeous and the next it’s 30 degrees and snowing. And sometimes, you get snow and sun within an hour of each other.

Those were the exact conditions for Lorena and Farah’s epic Sapphire Point Overlook Proposal.

I arrived early to hang out with Briana and Alix of Privé Event Design as they set up a romantic dinner for two at the overlook.  It was sunny and beautiful and the views were spectacular.

But by the time Lorena and Farah arrived, the clouds had rolled in and it was snowing heavily.

Luckily, I think the snow added to the magic of the moment, and while our team hid behind trees, we witnessed Lorena propose to Farah in a swirl of snowflakes.

After tears, kisses, and champagne, the three of us climbed the rocks around Sapphire Point for some portraits.  And can we talk about Farah’s boots? This girl rocked the climbing (no pun intended) for some epic shots.

And finally, a last surprise. Lorena had coordinated with Farah’s twin brother, cousin, and family and the group joined in for some dessert and toasts before heading back to their air bnb to celebrate.
