Snow Mountain Ranch Wedding | Susie and Nick
Susie and Nick’s Snow Mountain Ranch Wedding was our first wedding in the mountains this year, but I have a feeling that we’ll remember their wedding for the rest of the season. Though we hadn’t met before their wedding day, Susie and Nick and their family welcomed us to their celebration with open arms and warm hearts. In fact, the entire day was about love and laughter and the joining of two families into one.
With signature personal style, an awesome group of friends who helped with the planning and details, and the amazing backdrop of the Rocky Mountains from Snow Mountain Ranch’s Columbine Point, their wedding day could not have been more perfect.
Susie and Nick, thank you for allowing us to capture the depth and breadth of your love and thank you to your family for being so incredibly welcoming and sweet from start to finish.
Susie and Nick got ready in nearby reunion cabins on the sprawling campus of Snow Mountain Ranch. We were able to take advantage of the nearby views for photos of the girls. How amazing is the peplum on Susie’s dress??
Nick works for Denver Beer Company, so it was a no brainer that their beer would be a feature at their wedding.
Nick and Susie honored Nick’s dad throughout the day and a representative frog had a prominent place at the alter, in family photos, and at the reception.
Its about a 7 minutes drive to Columbine Point from the cabins, but its completely worth it–the views at the ceremony site could not be any more amazing.
Personal vows are the absolute best–a true representation of personality, dynamics of a relationship, and a beautiful commitment to each other.
After the ceremony we explored the surrounding area for couple’s photos. The two of them simply radiated with love.
Though there was supposed to be a break before the introductions, Susie and Nick couldn’t wait to get inside with their guests to start the party, so they introduced early and had plenty of time to drink, toast, and hug their family and friends.
After dinner it was time for the dancing, and boy, did this crowd like to dance! The energy was electric.
Right at sunset we snuck out for a few extra couple’s photos and just at that moment, the most amazing double rainbow appeared in the sky. While their guests hung out on the balcony and cheered, Susie and Nick took advantage of a few minutes alone to celebrate and cuddle before heading back into their party.
I have to say a quick thank you to my 2nd shooter for the day, Chris, who helped orchestrate the rainbow shot to perfection. All I can say is wow.Vendors who made this day magical:
