Styled Shoot – The Ice Castles Couple’s Shoot, Breckenridge
We’re super excited to share this shoot today, as it was a dream come true to shoot at the Breckenridge Ice Castles this year. The weather in the days leading up to the shoot was mid-twenties with gusts of wind up to 30mph and they were calling for the same in Breckenridge day of. Somehow we got lucky, though–while the temperatures stayed low, the sun was shining for the entire two hours we were at the Ice Castles, which turned out to be a blessing because many of the nooks and crannies of the Ice Castles were really quite dark. The castles did a great job of blocking the wind, too, so our shoot went off without a hitch–as long as you don’t county falling ice from the upkeep workers raining down on us every so often…
For this shoot, which was part one of the Breckenridge Winter Shoot featured on Mountainside Bride a couple weeks ago, we mixed a sparkly Sottero and Midgely Angelette dress from The Bridal Collection with cozy sweaters and scarves. Anna and Mateo totally rocked this part of the shoot, too, and I loved their willingness to cuddle up and keep each other warm. The ivory sweater we chose for Mateo was perfect for the cozy vibe we were creating. One again, Sarah from Painted Primrose created the gorgeous florals and Chelsea Elle from MENTE did hair and makeup.
We’re so excited that Season Hurd from A Colorado Courtship is featuring this shoot today, so head over and take a look there, too!
Absolutely lovely! So cozy and cute!
Thank you so much Erika!!
