Sunny Allenspark Wedding | CT and Ashley
One of my earliest memories of being a Colorado Wedding Photographer was my first trip to Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, CO. With a team of amazing vendors I planned my first full scale styled shoot (ignore the old logo!). Over the last 6 years I’ve had the pleasure to head head back for several more weddings.
I love that each wedding has taken advantage of the property in different ways. While most choose to hold their ceremony at the main site with views of Mt. Meeker, there are a myriad of options for the reception.
In June I joined Savannah Chandler to photograph CT and Ashley’s Summer Wild Basin Lodge wedding. They chose to have the entire wedding outdoors and utilized the Lodge’s porch spaces and amphitheater for their al fresco reception.
From small touches, like butterflies released at the end of the ceremony, to large choices, like a first dance on the amphitheater, CT and Ashley’s day was full of beautiful personal emotion.
One of my favorite parts of their day was seeing them break it down on the dance floor right up until their grand exit. Then we hopped in the cars and headed a few short miles down the road St. Malo’s Chapel on the Rock to capture the gorgeous purple sunset on Mt. Meeker.
