Trail Ridge Road Engagement | Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement

Trail Ridge Road RMNP Engagement photoMaysun, Nathaniel, and I will have had the chance to work together three times by the time March 2019 rolls around.  First, at their beautiful Trail Ridge Road Engagement session.  Then at their Nikah wedding celebration in Denver.  And finally at their more traditionally American wedding at blanc.

And I couldn’t’ be happier to get to spend so many hours with this genuine and kind couple.

For their engagement session we wanted to capitalize on the beautiful Colorado fall colors and we chose to drive up to the top of Trail Ridge Road, stopping along the way when we found the right spots.

We started lower in elevation, where the golds, oranges, and greens were layered like a painting on the mountainside.  Then we drove up past tree line and did the hike to the top of the trail (up to 12,000+ feet) at the Alpine visitor center. Finally, we found a gorgeous spot on the side of the road to take in the sunset.  And boy, did the sunset not disappoint. The color in the clouds lingered and got brighter and brighter.

And then finally, the alpenglow hit Long’s Peak, and even though we had already put on our coats, we dropped them off again for one more epic shot.

I’ll be sharing the Maysun and Nathaniel’s Nikah ceremony soon and definitely stay tuned for the capstone of our time together next year.
