What is the feel of a Wild Basin Lodge wedding?
From their site:
Wild Basin Lodge & Event Center offers couples a secluded, luxurious mountain wedding venue situated on the banks of a rushing river amongst pine and aspen groves, with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.
Our mission is to provide a simple, personalized, intimate, transparent experience from tour to wedding day. With only one wedding a day, Wild Basin couples host the wedding of their dreams with less stress, creating joyful memories that last a lifetime.
Vibe: Rustic wilderness. The main building hosts two floors of reception space, a giant wrap around porch, and wooden log architecture.
Favorite Part: The amphitheater is my favorite spot and can be used for the ceremony, reception, or cocktail hour.
Overall Impressions: I love that there are so many outdoor spots at this venue. From alcoves in the aspens, to wide open fields with mountain views, and a rushing creek, there are endless options for photographs at Wild Basin Lodge Weddings.
Where is the Wild Basin Lodge located?
Wild Basin Lodge can be found at 1130 County Rd 84, Allenspark, CO 80510.
Wild Basin Lodge is located just outside Rocky Mountain National Park, along highway 7. You’ll likely loose cell phone service as you get closer, so make sure you save your Google directions.
Pro Tips for getting married at the Wild Basin Lodge
The main ceremony site is very open, with no tree cover. It’s beautiful, Colorado blue sky day, just be prepared that it will be very bright and possibly very warm.
If you decide you want to do photos offsite, an entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is just down the road and St. Malo’s Chapel of the Rock is a couple miles away.
