Sarah and Dominic’s Wonderland Lake Boulder Engagement session fell on an unusually cold day in early fall–80 degrees the day before, 50’s the day of their session. Luckily the cold didn’t bother them much and we kept coats on hand to throw on as we walked around Wonderland Lake. We chose Wonderland Lake because of the varied scenery–trees, lakes, mountain views, and big open fields where we could play around with their awesome doors.
Dominic’s dad, Joe, made the doors and was on hand to help us get them into place. Sarah finished the doors with an awesome toned texture and had the foresight to bring along some white fabric to drape over the base. We’re super excited to see the re-incarnation of the doors at their ceremony next June at Deer Creek Valley Ranch.
Finally, I loved Sarah’s bright red dress–it was so vibrant under the overcast sky and the perfect stand out amidst all the greenery of their surroundings.
Congratulations you two!
