Winding River Ranch Weddings

UPDATE: Sadly Winding River Ranch burned to the ground during the East Troublesome Fires in October 2020. The owners are hoping to rebuild, but don’t have a timeline for it yet. You can keep up with their rebuilding progress here.

Location: Winding River Ranch is located in Grand Lake, CO. If you’re coming from Denver, take the extra time to drive through Rocky Mountain National Park (season and weather permitting).  The drive is spectacular.  If you have time, stop at the Alpine Visitor Center at the top of Trail Ridge Road to see the views from 12,000 feet. You might even catch sight of a bear!

The location of Grand Lake, CO means that each and every season here comes with its own distinct benefits. For many visitors, that is a deciding factor for making plans according to weather. Regardless of the season you decide on, make sure you prepare yourself accordingly. If you’re coming in the summer, its important to know that it can still be a but chilly during the afternoon and fairly cold at night. Its also a good idea to pack bug repellent as you’ll need it to stave off the mosquitoes. If you’re here in the early spring or late fall, bring plenty of warm clothes as the evenings can be quite chilly. If you decide on a winter wedding we recommend packing very warm cloths and a change of shoes in case of wet conditions.
