As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I have always had a soft spot for photographing LGBTQ couples. It’s always a joy to get to know the back stories of my couples–yet, I find that within the LGBTQ+ community there are often deeper fears and apprehension that comes with planning a wedding as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
I feel incredibly honored and privileged when couple’s choose me to be a part of their celebration. It’s my job as your photographer to make you feel comfortable being yourself on your wedding day. But it’s also my pleasure to help you feel supported, loved, and celebrated in your relationship every step of the way.
I’m Jennie (she/her/hers)
a LGBTQ+ Colorado and Denver wedding photographer
I photograph connected weddings for devoted and courageous couples.
I believe the best wedding days celebrate your unique connection with quiet touches, intimate smiles, and heartfelt laughter.
I think that life is better if you know how to rock a pair of purple pants, that cinnamon rolls can be eaten any time of day, and that you should always fall asleep holding hands.
I may be a professional Colorado and Denver wedding photographer, but I have quirks just like you. Read on if you want to know more about me!

What couples are saying
Jordan and Ashley
Jennie is an absolutely amazing wedding photographer. She does a brilliant job capturing the intimacy and joy shared between a couple, and she makes the (sometimes awkward) experience of being photographed full of laughter and silliness.
She also has a wealth of knowledge regarding LGBTQ vendors, and knows where to get the best custom-made women’s suits!!
Ashley and Teresa
I’m not sure we can say enough wonderful things about her to adequately do justice to how integral she was in our wedding! She was absolutely wonderful as our wedding photographer, and we were so lucky to have found her. My wife and I, as an LGBTQ couple who are both introverted, were extremely worried about finding a photographer who made us feel comfortable, but who was also LGBTQ friendly. <3 We searched A LOT of places on the web, trying to find recommendations from outdated LGBTQ wedding sites for Colorado, that had broken links or few photographer options. We ended up finding Jennie through one of her blog posts about intimate, Colorado wedding venues, and we absolutely fell in love with her photography style.
Caleb and Brian
The experience itself flew by. She worked hard to make us feel comfortable, breaking down some of those awkward photo jitters. The whole day, she made sure our experience was front and center and it truly made the day feel special.
The photos themselves are stunning. We’ve been getting such positive feedback from our family and friends – I think a lot of people are jealous of such beautiful pictures from a beautiful place.
I can’t recommend Jennie enough. She knows Colorado well, she’s understands the privacy of LGBT couples, and she was fun and easy to work with!
Taylor and Cat
Jennie photographed our wedding and engagement photos and was absolutely amazing. She did a great job of helping us be less shy in front of the camera and the photos turned out gorgeous. My wife in particular has anxiety and appreciated how expertly Jennie navigated pulling us out of our shells. We were really worried as a gay couple about finding a photographer we felt comfortable in front of and Jennie was 100% that, plus she was super sweet and fun to work with. I would highly recommend her!
I love capturing moments across the state of Colorado. I would be honored to be your Breckenridge Vail, Aspen, Telluride,
Estes Park, Fort Collins, Boulder, Lyons or Denver LGBTQ+ wedding photographer.
