Colorado Elopements

As a lover of intimate and connected weddings, Elopements have a special place in my heart. I love that elopements strip away all of the more “traditional” elements of a wedding and focus on the central part of the day: committing to each other in a meaningful and personal way.

Whether you’re planning to say “I do” at the top of a mountain or at the courthouse, choose the elopement path that feels right to you. Let’s design the perfect day together!

Whether you’re looking to elope because the pandemic forced you to change your plans or you always planned to elope, I’m here to help.

This guide includes:

  • How to decide who should be at your elopement
  • What elopement photography looks like under social distancing
  • An example elopement timeline
  • Choosing a location to elope
  • Applying for a marriage license in Colorado
  • The benefits of a self-solemnizing ceremony

I travel all over the state of Colorado and across the US to capture connected wedding stories for
devoted and courageous couples.

Hello!

I’m Jennie (she/her/hers)

a LGBTQ+ Colorado and Denver wedding photographer

I photograph connected weddings for devoted and courageous couples. Photographing Queer couples lights me up.

The best wedding days celebrate your unique connection with quiet touches, intimate smiles, and heartfelt laughter.

I think that life is better if you know how to rock a pair of purple pants, that cinnamon rolls can be eaten any time of day, and that you should always fall asleep holding hands.

I may be a professional queer wedding photographer, but I have quirks just like you. Read on if you want to know more about me!
