How long has a&be been in business? We opened October 2013 – going on our 6th year this year! 

How did a&be evolve? Where did the name come from? Our name was inspired by our owners’ names – They’re two badass friends named Anna and Breanna! We evolved from a traveling, indie bridal pop up shop to the modern, free-spirited boutique we are today! We have always focused on the latest trends, unique artisans, and service that can’t be beat!

What is your favorite part of being part of the wedding industry in Denver? Styling our brides! We love them! They are risk-takers, trend-setters and fearless women that inspire us every day!

Who is your ideal client?  What kinds of brides are looking for the designs you carry? Every bride is different, similarly to the collection of gowns we have in our shop! From sleek and modern to bold, graphic boho – we have everything in between! Our favorite brides are the ones that are confident, strong and are ready to have a lot of fun while we help her find her wedding gown!

Describe the process of working with you.  What do couple’s need to know? Every bride and their guests are welcomed into our shop as soon as they arrive! Our boutique is warm, inviting and has a fun edge to it! Throughout their 90 minute appointment, our bride will meet her stylist, confirm what she’s looking for and her stylist will show her the designs we have that she recommends based on the bride’s description. From there she gets to try them on! The bride will compare and eliminate the gowns to find the one! Once the bride says YES to the dress, we celebrate with a champagne toast and play with some accessories to see how she can be styled on her big day! We are with her from start to finish and even after her wedding day! ♥

What trends are inspiring to you right now? Which designers are you excited about? We just got back from Bridal Fashion Week in NY a couple weeks ago and we saw a lot of ruffles, minimalistic crepe fabrics, and off-the-shoulder styles! We are always excited to see what Rue de Seine has up their sleeve! We’re also excited to see the new designers we can add to our collection – We recently picked up Vagabond which is a cool, feminine collection designed in Cape Town.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? I just had Sweet Cow’s cookie butter ice cream for the first time last week and I have been CRAVING it ever since!

Where would you most like to travel? I would love to travel to Tokyo or Bora Bora – a little hustle and bustle and a little relaxation!
