Amanda and Juan’s Post-wedding Fall Session in Aspen

If there is one trend that I can get behind, it’s the post-wedding session. I’ve had several couples choose to do this lately and I love it! You could choose to do this session in lieu of an engagement session, or you could schedule this separately. But just do it!

Amanda and Juan really loved the idea of getting some beautiful mountain photos taken in their wedding attire, but they were planning their wedding for Denver. To get the best of the both worlds, they decided to substitute their engagement session for a post-wedding session at Maroon Bells. And the best part was that they made this session part of their honeymoon too.

So less than a week after their wedding we met up at the Bells for one last hurrah in their wedding looks. Sadly the wildfires were raging in the area in mid-September 2020, so the Bells were a bit hazy for our session, but I still think they turned out amazing! Post wedding, Amanda and Juan were relaxed, joyful, and fully engulfed in just wedded bliss.

It was also an opportunity to pull out some fun accessories, like the amazing hat Amanda brought with her!
