An Intimate Littleton, CO Backyard Civil Union |Kim and Apryl

When I first sat down with Kim and Apryl to talk about their Littleton, CO backyard civil union, we immediately hit it off.  With a glass of wine in hand, they told me all about their relationship, their chance meetings, and the instant connection Apryl felt when she first saw Kim, before she even talked to her.  Sometimes the world has a way of just letting you feel when you’ve met the right person.  And it didn’t take long before these two were insuperable and planning a future together.

When they talk about their relationship, you can just see the love radiate in both directions.  And they use one of the most tell-tale descriptions to talk about their life, one which I know from personal experience means a true and lasting love.

“I feel like I’ve known her my entire life, but I still feel like there is so much we have to discover about each other, and so much we have yet to do”

Kim and Apryl, it was such a privilege to photograph your ceremony among your family and friends.  And you are totally awesome to choose a 2,000 mile bike ride for your honeymoon.

Happy riding!

They incorporated a wine ceremony in to their ceremony.  They combined two wines, then shared their mix with all their guests,
before toasting each other and their family.

After the ceremony we wandered across the street to a lake.  There they had a chance to relax and celebrate their union.
