Fort Stillacoom Park Couple's Portraits

Heather and Jamie went to high school together, but like many people who go separate ways after graduation, most of their catching up had been via Facebook. Which is why we were super excited to meet up with Jamie and her boyfriend, Josh, at Fort Stillacoom Park in Lakewood, Washington for a fun couple’s shoot. When they pulled into the lot with a Seattle Sounders flag on their car, we knew we’d have a fun day.

Couples shoots are great, as they allow two people to stay away from the traditional expectations of engagement or wedding shoots and to just have fun with each other for a couple of hours. And yes, kissing is still encouraged no matter how long you’ve been together!

The park had great old barns, amazing tall grass, and picturesque walking trails and we took advantage of all of it!

Jamie and Josh, thanks for hanging out with us. You said during the shoot that you didn’t have any good photos of the two of you–you should now have a bunch!
