Goal #14 – It’s a Full-Frame World

Just before 2014 expires we get to check Goal #14 off of our 101 Goals in 1001 Days List.  We’ve been saving for a full-frame camera for some time (and renting for events in the meantime) and we’re so excited to welcome the Nikon D610 to our equipment line-up.  We’ve been playing with this camera for the better part of a year and LOVE it. The colors straight out of camera are amazing and the ease of focusing is a huge step up from our current body.

We’ll be keeping our previous body, of course, sending it in to have it serviced and adding it to our back-up list, but I can’t wait for next wedding season to roll around and to have this beauty at my disposal every shoot. And we’re super excited to take it along to our winter wedding in Virginia next week!

We’re already saving for our next upgrade but until we get there we plan to fully enjoy our new addition.
