Goal #20 – Out Front Magazine Ad

In our first year in business we didn’t have the funds to invest in print advertising.  In fact, print is something we weren’t sure we’d ever do.  We believe that incredible business growth can come from referrals alone.  But we also wanted to stretch our wings a bit this year and in a time when court decisions are overturning constitutional marriage bans right and left, we wanted to do something a bit bigger to help us put us in contact with LGBT clients.

So we worked with Out Front Magazine to create an ad for their new ‘Celebrate’ section, which highlights wedding vendors for LGBT couples.  Since part of our identity as a business is that we’re a same-sex couple ourselves, we’re hopeful that we’ll be able to build an immediate connection to LGBT couples right from the start, then have the chance to sit down with them to build a relationship that allows us to work together through their wedding process.
