Goal #95 – Green Blossom Christmas Cards!

I’ve had to wait awhile to post this because we didn’t celebrate Christmas with my family in Virginia until just last week.  Because my job at the Art Museum revolved around a temporary show, we had to postpone Christmas about a month.  But now that these cards, item #95 on my 101 Goals in 1001 Days list, have successfully been given out to family and mailed to friends as our Christmas cards, I get to share about them here.

To decide on the images to use, I posted a poll on facebook and my friends helped me narrow my top 12 choices down to 6.  Thanks for all the help guys–I think these were the perfect choices!  This batch included two from the Denver Botanic Gardens, two from our trip to Hawaii, one from a local coffee shop and bakery in Denver, and one taken on my mom’s porch last Christmas.

I had these cards printed through Collages.net, the company I use for my gallery hosting, and overall I was pretty pleased with them.  I think next time I do a card printing, I’ll go with a slightly glossier finish then the recycled matte finish I chose, but I’m still learning my way around the different paper options.  It can sometimes be difficult to pick from just a small paper sample!  I’m also still ordering products from different companies to see who I like working with best.
