Historic Mansion Denver Wedding | Heather and Jay
Heather and Jay met on Match.com (the first match for each of them!) and they had such instant chemistry that they were engaged within a year. Though they have chosen to settle in Denver for the next five years or so, both grew up on the East Coast. When it came time to decide what kind of wedding they wanted, they decided to mix Heather’s southern roots with Denver’s charm and chose Grant Humphrey’s Mansion as their backdrop.
With the help of the Hourglass Productions team, they planned a classy, ivory colored wedding for about 80 of their family and friends. The day included a ceremony on the lawn and dinner and dancing in the historic rooms of the mansion.
One of my favorite parts of the day was witnessing Heather’s joy as her father walked her down the aisle towards Jay, who was waiting on the Mansion steps.
And of course, what wedding would be complete without a fire alarm and a call to the Denver fire department?? Thankfully, this happened just prior to the ceremony so it didn’t affect the day much, though it allowed for an awesome fireman photo!
Heather and Jay it was wonderful to celebrate with you this past summer and I wish you years of happiness as you travel the world together and continue to settle into your new home in Colorado.
