Amanda and Karl’s Lakeside Lodge Wedding
Grand Lake is one of my newest favorite Colorado mountain towns and I was thrilled to tag along with Megan of Hazel and Lace Photography for Amanda and Karl’s Grand Lake Lodge Wedding.
We started the day hanging out with the bridal party in separate cabins on the Grand Lake Lodge property. Both cabins were full of fun energy and everyone spent the morning laughing, sipping drinks, and catching the fresh mountain breeze on the porch.
Amanda and Karl met on the overlook bridge for a first look and the tight hug they gave each other was indicative of their excitement to be together on their wedding day.
We spent some time with the bridal party before the ceremony, but had to navigate an early afternoon rain shower that pushed us indoors for awhile.
The ceremony was held on the point with spectacular views of Grand Lake. It was full of laughs, excitement, and cheers for both the bride and groom. After the reception, Amanda and Karl’s priority was spending time with family and friends at their travel themed reception. It was so wonderful to see their guests envelope them with love and hugs. They spent the evening enjoying good food, tearing up the dance floor, and hanging out by the firepit.
All in all, it was a wonderful summer day in Grand Lake. Congratulations you two!
