Lionsgate Event Center Wedding | Samantha and Alanna

Samantha and Alanna planned a loosely vintage holiday themed wedding, but what they really wanted was the cozy feel of Christmas lights and a room filled with chandeliers and being surrounded by loved ones on a cold winter day.

Thought we didn’t get snow, the day was magically perfect and the love that poured out for these two was so beautiful.

They started the day getting ready separately at the Lionsgate Event Center. Each were surrounded by their closest friends and siblings who helped them take care of the small details like steaming their dresses and touch up their make up.

When they were ready to see each other we headed to the Chandelier barn for their first look. I love that they each picked a dress that was perfect for them, yet uniquely them. The looks on each of their faces when they glimpsed each other was so so beautiful.

After the first look we headed outside to the grounds of the Dove House to take couples portraits. We had some weak afternoon sun that created beautiful light and Samantha and Alanna completely let themselves enjoy their intimate time together.

For the ceremony in the chandelier barn, I love how they chose to enter the space. They came out on the balcony together, kissed, then took turns walking down the stairs to their dads and then to the altar below.

The highlight of the ceremony was Samantha’s dad singing a song to the couple, followed by their personal vows. After their first kiss, Samantha and Alanna chose to share a champagne toast with all of their guests.

Then it was time to head in for the evening party! The lights of the Christmas trees and their burgundy and green color accents made the indoor space feel cozy and warm. They each shared dances with their dads and with each other. And when it was time for the open dancing to start, the live band kept people on the dance floor the rest of the night.

They ended the night with a sparkler exit and a grand exit in a fancy car.
