Redwood Regional Park Oakland Engagement | Nina and Adam
Nina and Adam met when they were 14 years old on a NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) backpacking trip. They may not have known it then, but they were the perfect match. Fast forward a few years and they’re now in them midst of planning an intimate, laid-back wedding in Northern California.
After a stint in Boulder, CO and six-months traveling in Asia (where they worked for a non-profit helping to get elephants out of the tourist industry), Nina and Adam have settled near family in Oakland, CA. They love the mild climate, the outdoor adventure opportunities and the lifestyle they’ve embraced since being back in CA.
I love traveling and exploring new places, which is part of the justification for why I believe in No Travel Fees. So, in early September I packed up and flew to Northern California for their Redwood Regional Park Oakland Engagement.
We wandered through the tall souring trees, stopping often to chase the sunlight and find hidden crevices among the ferns. In between stops we chatted about jobs, school, and The Bachelorette.
After we lost the sun in the forest, we retreated to Jack London Square in downtown Oakland where we hung out along the bay as the sun slipped below the horizon.
Nina and Adam, I can’t wait to celebrate with you next June!
