Shooting Medium Format Film | Film Friday – August 21, 2015
One of my business goals this year is to try to shoot one roll of medium format film at every wedding. I’m enjoying this process so far, focusing on using the camera for portraits alongside of my amazing digital camera.
Your can follow along with my results on Film Fridays.

I was so inspired by Sarah’s style at her and Dominic’s Deer Creek Valley Ranch wedding that I knew I just had to take some extra photos on film. I couldn’t get over how amazing Sarah’s dress was (from the Wedding Seamstress) and I just wanted to keep shooting portraits of her before the ceremony.
The photo below is one of my favorites (but I’ll be sharing more soon!). I just love how this photo shows off the back of the dress and how it incorporates a sense of movement and anticipation.
You can see the rest of their wedding coverage here.
This dress was made for film! And I’m absolutely in love with this shot!
