Summer Mountain Wedding with Canoes | Samantha and Joe

Now that the temperatures have dropped to close to freezing and snow has come to Colorado, I thought I’d take a look back at a beautiful Piney River Ranch Summer Wedding I had the pleasure of photographing alongside Candice Benjamin Photography (thanks for having me along!).

In case I haven’t said it enough before, Piney River Ranch is one of my favorite Colorado venues and its on my list of awesome Intimate Colorado Wedding Venues as well.  I love the views, the feel of seclusion, the lake, the moose, and the staff.  I am never disappointed when I’m at Piney and I’m always looking for another opportunity to go back and photograph again.

For this wedding, it was such a pleasure to hang out with Samantha and Joe and their friends and family.  Samantha is full of laughter and spent the entire day giggling with happiness.  Its so important to me that couples really embrace the JOY of their wedding day. And Samantha and Joe did just that.

From the vows in front of the stunning view, to a moose sighting during bridal party photos.  From the streaming sunshine, to the bonfire at the end of the night. The entire day was full of good company and love.
