Timber Ridge Keystone Resort Wedding

This past summer (on my birthday), I trekked to the top of Keystone Mountain with Jordan Weiland Photography to celebrate the stunning wedding of Maureen and Tom. Long days and gorgeous gondola rides seem to be par for the course in Colorado, but it is so worth it for the stunning views and seclusion that comes at the top of the Rocky Mountains.

Maureen and Tom started the day exchanging vows in a church in Silverthorne, followed by photos at Dillon Lake. Finally, they hitched a ride on the gondola that took them to their Keystone Resort Mountain Wedding reception.

Alexan Events curated the evening’s events, and let me tell you–they created one of the most stunning reception spaces I’ve ever seen. Flowers upon flowers all played up the coziness of the lodge-like space, complete with enormous stone fireplace that bookend the space. Even in the middle of summer the temperature drops as you climb in altitude, so Maureen and Tom’s guests loved having a warm, inviting space to head into for dinner and dancing.

We did manage to sneak out one last time for portraits right as the sun set over the mountains and the colors were amazing.
