Treehouse Point Wedding | A Styled Shoot
Mid-wedding season last year I came across a Treehouse Point Wedding, located in the heart of the Washington forest, and I fell in love. While I know Treehouses are becoming a big thing (have you seen the show Treehouse Masters? The main guy in the show also built Treehouse Point), I hadn’t really thought about them for weddings.
But Treehouse Point, located in Fall City, WA, is the perfect spot for intimate elopements and small weddings. There are 6 threehouses and several main buildings to the property and each treehouse is unique and different. Some you access by stairs and some you have to cross a bridge to get to. Each one serves as a guest house that you can rent out and sleep in.
I definitely want to try that out sometime! How cool would it be to sleep in the trees?
As soon as I saw Treehouse Point, I knew that it was somewhere that I wanted to create, so I reached out to several area vendors and we worked up an organic, earthy styled shoot in late summer. We wanted to shoot to feel relaxed, yet vibrant and I couldn’t be happier with what we created.
We’re so excited to see this shoot featured over on Fab You Bliss today, so make sure you check out the feature, then come back here to see some of my favorite shots.
Vendors involved:
Flowers: Bloom
Hair and Make-up: Make-up Artistry and Hair by Sarah Ren
Invitation and wood carvings: Whimsy Design Studio
Bridal Dress Shop: Calla Bridal
Models: Amanda and Daylon
Tara, from Bloom, designed our gorgeous bridal bouquet. I told her I wanted “large showy blooms and loads of texture and greens”, and she hit it out of the park.
How amazing is the Temple of the Moon treehouse? Its one of their iconic houses, and for good reason. That bridge was so freakin’ cool.We chose to use two dresses for our shoot. The first dress featured relaxed lace and brought the perfect amount of elegance to the woodland setting. We focused on simple goodies for this elopement. We found the wooden table on site at Treehouse Point and it was perfect. We layered it with blooms, an awesome woodburned sign by Whimsy Design Studio, and the perfect bottle of wine. Not to mention locally made yummy macaroons and pear tarts. Make-up and Hair by Sarah Ren perfected the loose, relaxed, yet elegant look.
In addition to the treehouses, the property also featured access to the river. I just loved the water-worn smooth gray rocks.
