We started our online presence in March of 2019 and our last mobile bar was finished in September of 2019. This will be our first wedding season.

2. What made you start Wandering Wagons?
I have a horse named Rio and have always loved horses. I thought that it would be cool if I turned my first horse trailer into a bar for a venue that I hopefully own one day. [S0], I stared searching for ideas on how to transform a horse trailer and came across the world of mobile bartending. I really love being around people and miss aspects of the service industry. I like being around people and ensuring that everyone is having a great time. Starting a mobile bartending company just felt right.
I had this idea in late February and we were in action by early March.
3. What is your favorite part of owning your own business?
I really like learning and growing. I have learned so much this past year and I know that there is so much more to learn. And I love the fact that it’s never finished. There will always be things to learn and action to take in order to keep being better for ourselves and our clients.
4. Who is your ideal client? Who inspires you in your design?
My ideal client is anyone that wants to turn the bartending aspect of a private event into an experience. People love our mobile bar and it is such a great conversation starter. I love working with clients that are fun and want to do something different at their wedding or party. I get so much inspiration from mobile bars across the United States that I couldn’t name just one! We are a super close community and really believe in community over competition.
5. Describe the process of working with you. What do couple’s need to know?
I am super outgoing and love talking to couples about what they envision for their wedding day or private event. I really enjoy being creative and like to take what I learn about my clients and add personal touches to drinks and/ or decor to personalize the bar experience.
6. What trends are inspiring to you right now?
I love the fact that it’s trendy to stay local and support small business as it aligns with my own values. I am working hard on a menu that brings local and fresh ingredients into my cocktails and mocktails. [My goal is to have as] many farm to glass drinks as I possibly can on my menu!
Now for fun!
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Half Baked by Ben and Jerry’s
Where would you most like to travel?
I really want to head back to Scotland as it was the most magical place I’ve ever been.
