Intimate Vail Wedding Deck Same-sex Wedding | Charlie and Michael

One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer in Colorado is that I have the chance to work with out of town couples who love the Rocky Mountains and want them as a backdrop to their wedding.

Charlie and Michael are based in Chicago, and while they love it there, they really wanted to celebrate their marriage in CO.  They flew down in June for their engagement session and solidified their excitement for their Intimate Vail Wedding Deck Wedding.

I love that the focus of their wedding was spending quality time with their closest family and friends.  Though they were worried about weather, the cloudy skies were the perfect backdrop for a mountain-top wedding.

After their emotional ceremony, Charlie and Michael spent the evening getting down on the dance floor to live music by the Goonies.

I couldn’t be happier for the two of you and I feel blessed that I got to spend the last year getting to know you.  Congratulations!
