The Forum Wichita Falls Texas Wedding | Caitlin and Patrick

I feel so honored that I was invited to be a witness to one of the biggest days for Caitlin–the day she got to marry Patrick.  Caitlin and I go way back–to our childhood, in fact (we’re cousins!).  But her family moved to Texas when all the cousins were still young, and we didn’t see each other as much.

We led pretty separate lives, overlapping on some holidays or summer visits, but really not seeing each other very often.  Social media helped for sure, and it was great to be able to follow along with each other’s lives on the internet.  And then just over a year ago, I was invited to document Jonathan and Lindsey’s Captiva Island wedding and Caitlin and I had to chance to catch up.

That wedding was when I first met Patrick, someone Caitlin knew almost immediately that she wanted to marry.  In fact, they both knew they loved each other after their first date.  When you know, you know.

Fast forward through a proposal and an engagement and it was wedding day for the two at their Forum Wichita Falls Texas wedding.

Caitlin’s dad was the pastor for First Christian Church in Wichita Falls for many years, so it was the obvious choice for the wedding ceremony. Although, on this day, dad was just dad, and two pastors and friends married them instead.

After the ceremony, Caitlin and Patrick were anxious to get to the Forum and start the celebration! They took an old school trolley between sites.  We paused for some beautiful sunset portraits at the Forum, then headed inside for the festivities.

After hours of dancing, they ended the night with a sparkler exit on the back patio.

I couldn’t be happier for you two–congratulations!!
